Terms of service

Last updated: 3 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to your use of valmereliving.co and purchases from Valmere. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Valmere. Our store is hosted by Shopify; your contract for goods is with Valmere. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights.

This is our correspondence address, not a returns warehouse. Please contact us for return instructions or collection arrangements.

Using the store

You must be at least 18 to place an order. Provide accurate contact, payment and delivery details, and only use a payment method you are authorised to use. If you create an account, keep your login details secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must use the website lawfully and must not upload malicious software, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the store’s security or misuse another person’s information. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the store or address misuse. This does not affect your rights in relation to an existing order.

Products and descriptions

Products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any purpose made known to us and agreed before purchase. We aim to show accurate descriptions, dimensions, materials and photographs. Colours can look different on different screens; this does not remove your right to goods that match their description. Check the dimensions and suitability of an item before ordering, and ask us if you need more information.

Availability, prices and descriptions may change for future orders. Changes do not retrospectively alter an order we have accepted without your agreement.

Orders and payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy the items selected. An automated acknowledgement confirms that we have received the order. We accept your order when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first. Payment is processed using the payment options available at checkout.

If we cannot accept or fulfil an order, for example because an item is unavailable or there is an obvious pricing error, we will contact you promptly and refund any payment for the affected item. We will not substitute a different item or require a higher price without your agreement. Once a contract is made, any change or cancellation by us must comply with applicable law and your statutory rights.

If you need to change an order, contact us as soon as possible. We may not be able to change an item already being prepared or dispatched, but your statutory cancellation and return rights remain available as explained in our Refund Policy.

Prices and delivery charges

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include applicable taxes. Delivery charges and any other payable charges are shown before you place your order. Any free-delivery offer or promotion is subject to the conditions stated with that offer. You will not be charged an undisclosed fee after ordering without your express agreement.

Shipping and delivery

We currently deliver to UK addresses only, subject to product and postcode restrictions. We aim to dispatch most in-stock items within 1–3 working days. Standard parcel delivery is normally on the next working day after dispatch. Selected larger, bulky or fragile items require specialist delivery and have a longer estimate, normally around two weeks after carrier collection, in addition to preparation time. These are estimates; see our Shipping Policy for details and contact us before ordering if you need to confirm the service for a particular item.

Any delivery period agreed with you before purchase applies. Unless we agree a different period, we will deliver within 30 days of the contract being made. If a delivery is delayed, we will help resolve it and your legal remedies remain available. Goods delivered by a carrier arranged by us remain at our risk until you or a person you nominate takes physical possession of them. Contact us about missing, delayed or damaged deliveries.

Cancellations, returns and faulty goods

For eligible online purchases, you may cancel without giving a reason until 14 days after the day you receive the goods, and have a further 14 days to return them after notifying us, unless we have offered collection. Where a single order arrives in separate deliveries, the cancellation period starts after receipt of the last item. Return arrangements, costs, exceptions and refund deadlines are set out in our Refund Policy.

Your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described are separate from change-of-mind cancellation. The cancellation period and any lawful exclusion for personalised goods do not limit those rights.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled, including information shared with Shopify, payment providers and delivery partners to operate the store and fulfil orders.

Website content and reviews

Website text, images, logos and other content belong to us or their respective owners or licensors. You may view and use the website for personal shopping. Do not republish or commercially reuse protected content without permission or another lawful basis.

If you submit a review or other content, it must be honest, lawful and something you have the right to share. You allow us to display that content in connection with the store and its products, subject to applicable law. We may remove unlawful, misleading, abusive or irrelevant content. Third-party links are provided for convenience; their services are governed by their own terms.

Our responsibility

If we breach these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of that breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence or was contemplated by both parties when the contract was made. Products are supplied for domestic and private use; we do not accept responsibility for business losses such as loss of profit arising from business use.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, your statutory rights relating to goods, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Our use of suppliers, Shopify or delivery partners does not remove our responsibilities to you as the seller.

Complaints

Please contact us using the details above with your order number and a description of the issue. We will investigate and try to resolve it with you. Making a complaint does not prevent you from exercising your legal rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You retain any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence that apply to you. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts as permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future use of the store and future orders. The terms in effect when we accept your order apply to that order unless you agree otherwise. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it.
