Matt Black Hammered Metal Vase with Lid, 103cm

Give a room a more pronounced vertical feature with the Matt Black Large Hammered Vase with Lid from Valmere. The metal body has a hammered surface that adds texture to the otherwise simple matt black colour. Its removable lid gives you the choice of presenting the vase as a complete sculptural object or styling it with decorative branches. At 103 cm high, it has a presence that deserves space within the room.

Styling ideas

A pale wall can bring the black outline into focus, while natural wood, linen or stone coloured accessories help soften the surrounding setting. Keep nearby decorative objects lower so the vase supplies the main height. If adding branches, choose an arrangement that leaves some of the hammered surface visible. The shape can also work on its own, especially in a corner or beside furniture where a smaller accessory would feel out of scale.

Display and care

Listed at 40 cm long by 40 cm wide by 103 cm high, this large vase weighs 5.4 kg before adding any contents. Measure your intended position, including space for the lid to be removed and for any branches to extend upwards. Set it on a level, stable floor area where people can move around it comfortably. Repeating a little black in lighting or picture frames can connect its finish to the rest of the room without overloading the display.
